About this role
Role Overview
Supporting the accurate and timely management of customer invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
Ensuring effective monitoring of debtor balances
Maintaining strong customer relationships
Supporting the integrity of revenue reporting across Gentoo Media
Contributing to efficient cash collection, accurate financial records, and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Building and maintaining a good relationship with the assigned customers
Sending monthly sales invoices and statements to customers
Chasing overdue invoices
Providing updates and information on the assigned customers
Following up on customer’s queries
Performing customer accounts reconciliation
Performing monthly cashouts from affiliate wallets
Monitoring of debtors’ balances including clearing up of credit balances
Maintaining an updated list of active accounts on the revenue report
Reporting any slow-paying or non-paying customers to Account managers and the Legal department if necessary
Assisting in the monthly reconciliations
Posting of sales invoices
Assisting in the audit-related queries
Updating the weekly receivables reports
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Accounting certification (ACCA part-qualified or equivalent) – considered an asset.
Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations, or similar accounting role.
Experience in customer invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
Experience handling multi-currency transactions is considered an asset.
Experience in iGaming or affiliate environments is considered an asset.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and controls.
Ability to perform account reconciliations and debtor analysis.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliations, reporting).
Ability to analyse ageing reports and debtor balances.
Basic understanding of revenue recognition principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
