Defines critical production processes and the product critical characteristics that require measurement and control; monitors and ensures their stability, coordinating actions with the involved departments.
Monitors daily production and internal and external quality indicators.
Defines and implements temporary processes and repair standards.
Continuously seeks actions to improve processes, product quality and costs.
Proposes and follows up engineering changes to the product.
Supports planning activities for new processes, products, parts and equipment under their responsibility.
Conducts tests of new materials and processes and performs the corresponding technical approval.
Informs planning of all changes to production processes and/or equipment.
Maintains historical records of all relevant technical data for the processes under their area of responsibility.
Ensures that defined processes comply with safety, quality, environmental standards and applicable legislation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Specific technical knowledge in process and production flow for the body shop (car bodies) area (preferred)
Ability to read and understand technical drawings (preferred)
Ability to analyze/interpret dimensional reports (preferred)
Basic knowledge of welding (preferred)
Knowledge of the RPS system and part positioning on production lines (preferred)
User-level IT skills
Spoken and written English
Experience in Production or Maintenance areas (preferred)
Advanced skills in creating presentations/graphs in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
