Lead NPD initiatives in microbiology, translating customer, regulatory, and operational needs into clear direction for R&D and Operations.
Ensure alignment with global and regional microbiological standards, keeping claims, datasets, and documentation audit-ready.
Define the portfolio strategy, roadmap, pricing policy, and business objectives based on market segmentation, competitive analysis, and customer needs.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market strategy, specification-driven selling, and commercial enablement tools.
Monitor growth, market share, and overall portfolio health.
Drive Voice of Customer and Voice of Sales activities and serve as the internal expert on microbiological workflows and application requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, with at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally in laboratory consumables or regulated applied markets.
Excellent knowledge of microbiology workflows and customer decision criteria.
Strong understanding of specification-driven selling, compliance requirements, and customer personas.
Demonstrated ability to align and influence R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams within a global matrix organization.
Excellent skills in market analysis, portfolio economics, pricing, and competitive positioning, with strong business judgment.
Comfortable driving transformations with measurable impact and a sense of urgency.
Valid driver's license with a compliant driving record.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the relevant scope.
