Researches, develops, designs, and tests components, equipment and systems
Designs equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role
Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects
Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

5 Years with Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering
3 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
0 years of relevant professional experience with a PhD
Knowledgeable of understanding Foundations and O&F designs
Knowledgeable of understanding HVAC and pipe designs
Ability to travel to a different state for up to three months at a time as needed
Good verbal and written communication skills
Engineering experience and knowledge of systems for CG47, LCS, LPD17, LHA and LHD ship classes preferred
Prior experience in support of waterfront production efforts.
