Perform time studies, cycle time analysis, and line balancing activities to improve manufacturing productivity and operational efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement within manufacturing operations.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction, productivity improvements, and process optimization.
Lead and participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement activities.
Support process changes, layout modifications, and manufacturing flow improvements using AutoCAD and related tools.
Maintain updated process documentation, manufacturing standards, and change management history.
Analyze manufacturing capacity and support operational decision-making based on productivity metrics and cycle time data.
Collaborate closely with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to support daily manufacturing operations.
Support SMT through final packing operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Drive problem-solving initiatives and support implementation of corrective actions tied to manufacturing performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree completed in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement within manufacturing environments.
3-4 years of experience within electronics manufacturing or SMT environments.
Strong hands-on experience performing time studies, line balancing, bottleneck analysis, and productivity improvement activities.
Experience supporting SMT or electronics manufacturing processes preferred.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Kaizen initiatives.
Experience supporting layout changes and manufacturing flow improvements.
