About this role
Role Overview
Develop, maintain, and analyze engineering labor forecasts, staffing plans, and workload projections
Coordinate schedules and execution plans for engineering programs and operational initiatives
Monitor and report program performance metrics including cost, schedule, labor utilization, and operational health
Support budget planning, variance analysis, and manpower reconciliation activities
Assist leadership with risk assessments, forecasting models, and resource allocation strategies
Generate recurring and ad hoc reports utilizing Excel, SAP, Power BI, and other planning systems
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve planning conflicts and improve execution efficiency
Participate in proposal development, operational reviews, and customer deliverables
Support process improvement initiatives focused on schedule performance, cost reduction, and operational effectiveness
Interface with engineering teams, waterfront operations, and program offices to align priorities and execution goals
Provide leadership updates and presentation materials for management reviews
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and program requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience
Master’s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
