Provide first line of defense risk leadership, oversight, and support for all assigned business unit segments in the execution of enterprise risk and operational risk programs
Collaborate with leadership, second line of defense program owners, and other applicable areas of the bank to develop and execute risk program frameworks and deliverables
Facilitate execution of key risk framework components as delegated by LOD2 risk programs, including Risk Identification and Risk Measurement activities
Assist business line management with identifying, assessing, measuring, controlling, mitigating, monitoring, and communicating risks associated with business processes, products, services, systems, and decisions for applicable business units
Support the evaluation of inherent and residual risk by considering risk drivers, likelihood, impact, control effectiveness, and other applicable measurement criteria to ensure risks are appropriately understood, documented, and escalated
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications or equivalent education and related training
Eight to twelve years of financial services or risk management experience, and/or equivalent education, training and experience
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to interact and communicate within all levels of organization, across functions, and within public sector/governmental agencies
Strong analytical, cognitive, conceptual, critical thinking and organizational skills
Demonstrated leadership, communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated planning ability with demonstrated judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
