Interact with the firm's various departments to ensure the quality of client information;
Act strategically in identifying technology solutions, performance management, performance indicators (KPIs), and in preparing the business area's budget;
Ensure effective communication, acting as a negotiating leader and strong communicator to help business areas achieve their goals;
Implement improvements to processes and procedures aimed at optimization and automation;
Support the development and implementation of systems for managing legal workflows and requests;
Ensure the quality and reliability of databases in computerized systems;
Prepare management and operational reports to support strategic decision-making for the areas;
Analyze results according to the profit-center structure and evaluate business area performance to better direct efforts;
Manage the legal back office, being responsible for (i) client, proposal, contract and matter/case registration, (ii) publications, (iii) filings/protocols, (iv) guides, (v) hiring and accounting for third parties (correspondents/translators), (vi) client systems, (vii) audit reports, (viii) schedules for hearings and trials.
