About this role
Role Overview
- Support delivery of energy and sustainability services across commercial buildings.
- Conduct on-site energy surveys, analyse utility consumption data, and produce reports identifying opportunities to reduce energy use.
- Coordinate Automatic Meter Reading installations and work closely with clients and contractors to improve building performance.
- Prepare evidence-based energy audit reports with practical recommendations.
- Liaise with facilities managers, contractors, and site teams to gather operational information.
Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
- Comfortable working both with data and in operational building environments.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Interest in energy management standards, building systems, and practical problem solving.
- Strong organisational skills to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence working in operational building environments and engaging professionally with facilities managers and contractors.
- Solid analytical ability and proficiency in Excel.
- Basic understanding of building services such as HVAC systems and controls.
- Interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, and operation of commercial buildings.
