Role Overview
Investigate un-invoiced shipments and identify sales orders needing urgent shipping actions.
Prepare invoices for sales orders scheduled for shipping and coordinate notifications with shipping agents.
Maintain effective communication with dispatch, sales, customers, and After Sales regarding shipping updates and tracking information.
Ensure compliance with Letters of Credit and collaborate with freight forwarders to prepare necessary documentation.
Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives like Lean Six Sigma/A3 and produce relevant metrics to track performance.
Obtain competitive shipping quotes to support cost reduction efforts and prepare customs entry documentation as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in shipping administration is essential.
Proficiency in software applications including Adobe, JDE, Teams, and Excel.
Strong communication and negotiation skills are required.
Ability to make informed decisions within established guidelines and take responsibility for outcomes.
Capability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
