About this role
Role Overview
Own end-to-end executive deck development: intake, storylining, drafting, design, iteration, and final production for board/SteerCo/C‑suite deliverables.
Shape the narrative: turn complex inputs (notes, workshops, spreadsheets, strategy docs) into tight story arcs, executive messaging, and decision-ready summaries.
Design high-impact enterprise PowerPoint: build clean, modern, brand-aligned slides with strong visual hierarchy, consistent layout systems, and polished executive aesthetics.
Create “so-what” clarity: simplify complexity through sharp headlines, structured arguments, and data storytelling (charts, tables, dashboards, and conceptual diagrams).
Develop core executive assets: templates, slide libraries, iconography, reusable frameworks, and standardized layouts to improve speed, consistency, and quality.
Partner with senior stakeholders (e.g., CIO/CTO, Finance, Transformation leads, Program Directors): challenge assumptions, clarify intent, and rapidly incorporate feedback while protecting narrative coherence and design quality.
Manage multiple concurrent priorities with high quality and confidentiality—often on short cycles aligned to governance cadences (weekly SteerCos, monthly exec reviews, quarterly board packs).
Maintain rigorous quality control: alignment, spacing, typography, accessibility considerations, and “last-mile” production excellence (print/PDF readiness, file hygiene, versioning).
Requirements
Demonstrable experience as a presentation writer/designer producing enterprise, board-level PowerPoint decks (not general marketing slides)—including governance materials such as SteerCo packs, board updates, business reviews, investment cases, and transformation/program updates.
Advanced PowerPoint expertise (slide architecture, master slides, layout systems, complex charts, visual frameworks, and high-fidelity production standards).
Strong portfolio showcasing executive/board-ready decks with: crisp, decision-oriented writing (headlines that state the takeaway), strong information design and data visualization, consistent, premium visual craft and brand discipline.
Exceptional executive communication: ability to write with brevity, precision, and confidence; comfortable synthesizing incomplete or conflicting inputs.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders—balancing responsiveness with a point of view on what “good” looks like.
Comfort working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with strict deadlines and confidentiality requirements.
