Senior Accountant – EU, UK, Asia

Role Overview

• Handle all day-to-day accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Collate information for VAT and tax reporting
• Process incoming and outgoing payments
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Maintain prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset registers
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Support compliance with finance filing requirements
• Coordinate with external parties such as auditors and local tax authorities
• Ensure consistent coding and intercompany balances
• Deliver periodic financial reports to management

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant
• At least 3 years of experience in handling accounts; audit experience is considered an asset
• Willing to drive change and improvements
• Based in Malta
• Fluent in English
• Willing to travel abroad as needed
• Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal structures is considered beneficial
• Advanced Excel skills
• Well-organized with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude
• Flexible and able to meet internal and statutory deadlines
