Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for payment flows, RESTful APIs, backend services and data processing, merchant onboarding
Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings.
Work closely with architects and developers to ensure requirements are technically feasible and aligned with the solution design.
Partner with the Product Owner to refine and prioritise the product backlog.
Participate fully in Scrum ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives.
Provide ongoing clarification to developers and testers throughout the sprint.
Produce and maintain API specifications and interface definitions, business process models, sequence diagrams, and integration contracts.

Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML
Event driven and message based integrations
Payment gateway architecture and transaction flows
Merchant accounts, MIDs, acquirer relationships
Ability to interpret API documentation and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps (for backlog and requirements management) Postman or similar API tools
Experience in payments, e commerce, or financial services.
Understanding of card schemes, acquirers, and settlement processes.
Knowledge of fraud, chargebacks, and reconciliation workflows.
