Role Overview
- Lead and manage all construction activities for renewable energy project from mobilization through to commissioning
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet project milestones
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and company policies
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions proactively
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to maintain positive relationships and ensure project requirements are met
- Prepare and present regular construction reports, including progress updates,
Requirements
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Construction Manager with Renewable Energy Projects or similar role in Power Generation, Oil and Gas sectors
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices related to renewable energy infrastructure
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Qualifications: Mechanical or Electrical, Construction Management or Project Management desired
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite
