Lead end-to-end operations and special projects in India. This includes:
Create budgets and contracts, coordinate field logistics, and manage field teams
Cultivate stakeholder relationships and build partnerships independently
Develop a deep understanding of the India coffee landscape
Proactively identify risks and opportunities; develop and discuss country strategy with Asia Region Lead
Navigate dynamic challenges on the ground while maintaining strategic perspective
Oversee data quality processes and ensure high standards for data collected during fieldwork
Support insights generation, and conduct data analysis projects to deepen Enveritas’ understanding of coffee industry dynamics in India
Generate reports for stakeholders and clients; conduct research on coffee and other crops, as needed
Train field teams and lead sessions on data quality
Coordinate field team workflows; travel approximately 10–20% of the time as needed
Support Asia’s Operations and Data & Insights teams on special projects and other ad hoc requests

Requirements
4–6 years of relevant experience in field operations or project management, with exposure to data analysis, research, the coffee sector, sustainable agriculture, or comparable fields
Independent problem-solver with sound judgment and an adaptable mindset; able to handle dynamic situations while maintaining strategic perspective
Excellent communication skills and a high level of accountability; strong work ethic and professionalism, particularly in independent and remote settings
Strong analytical competencies, with experience working with datasets and deriving insights using data exploration or analysis techniques
Track record of working effectively in fast-paced, multicultural team environments
A genuine commitment to alleviating poverty and making the world a better place
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with quantitative data collection platforms required. Proficiency in programming languages, GIS, or LLMs is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in development studies, economics, business, statistics, plant science, forestry, or a related discipline
Availability for regular travel to remote agricultural regions in coffee-producing areas in India.
