Family Support Specialist – Temporary

Role Overview

• Provide in-home intervention to children and their families
• Utilize skill-based, evidence-based practices to help families implement solutions
• Act as a resource, provider, and advocate for families
• Provide evidence-based interventions and case management support under contractual responsibilities
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community partners
• Report and document emergencies involving family members or staff
• Participate actively in individual and group supervisions/trainings

Requirements

• Associate of Arts degree
• Two years of full-time experience in human services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of community resources and service providers in the service area
• Scheduling flexibility with availability for evenings and weekends
• On-call availability for crisis response
