Full Stack Java Engineer -- Workforce Management (WFM)

Miratech is hiring a Full Stack Java Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native applications for Workforce Management, Customer Experience, and operational business processes. The role spans backend and frontend development, integrations, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and established software engineering practices
• Build modern web applications using React, TypeScript, reusable components, responsive layouts, and accessible interaction patterns
• Develop and consume REST APIs using an API-first approach; maintain clear OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and error handling
• Contribute to the design of modular, maintainable solutions using microservices and appropriate object-oriented and event-driven design patterns
• Use Node.js where appropriate for lightweight services, backend-for-frontend components, integrations, or development tooling
• Contribute to the design and optimization of PostgreSQL data models and queries with attention to integrity, performance, and audit history
• Implement and support reliable integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, and other appropriate integration patterns
• Containerize applications and contribute to cloud-based deployment patterns, configuration management, and environment consistency
• Build and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, quality gates, and repeatable deployments
• Instrument applications with structured logging, metrics, tracing, and actionable error reporting
• Troubleshoot functional and production issues and improve application performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and other engineers through design sessions, code reviews, planning, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, including contribution to production applications
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring technologies, particularly Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing
• Frontend development experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management, and modern testing practices
• Familiarity with Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tooling, or supporting components
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and maintainable applications in distributed environments
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models in PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases
• Experience developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation and participate in client-facing workshops
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API design
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging and event-streaming technologies
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tooling, and secure software delivery practices
• Experience with Workforce Management (WFM), Customer Experience (CX), contact center, or customer service solutions
• Experience with AWS, Amazon Connect, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, or similar communication technologies
• Knowledge of workforce optimization and contact center operations, including forecasting, scheduling, routing, and adherence
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with CRM, HR, identity, payroll, and analytics platforms
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude
