Implementation Engineer

Damoov develops telematics software and APIs for fleet operators, insurers, mobility providers, and technology businesses. The Implementation Engineer guides customer deployments from kickoff through launch, including platform configuration, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical implementation of Damoov's platform for new customers
• Work with customers to understand implementation requirements and project goals
• Configure platform settings and assist with product setup
• Support API and SDK integrations during implementation
• Coordinate testing, validation, and launch activities with customers and internal teams
• Troubleshoot technical issues during implementation and work with Engineering to resolve them
• Monitor implementation progress and help keep projects on schedule
• Create and maintain implementation documentation and customer guides
• Provide technical guidance and best practices throughout the onboarding process
• Share customer feedback and implementation insights with Product and Engineering teams

Requirements:

• Experience in implementation, solutions engineering, technical consulting, support engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and software integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good project coordination and organizational abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business users
• Comfortable managing multiple customer implementations simultaneously
• Interest in SaaS platforms, APIs, mobile technology, or software integrations
• Experience implementing SaaS, API, or SDK-based products
• Familiarity with mobile applications, cloud platforms, or web technologies
• Basic programming or scripting experience
• Experience using tools such as Postman, Git, or Jira
• Familiarity with telematics, mobility technology, fleet software, or location-based services
• Experience working in a startup or growing technology company
