Data Analyst Lead

Progressive Insurance is hiring a Lead Data Analyst in People Analytics to partner with Talent Acquisition Group leaders and deliver data-driven insights. The role manages operational and analytical reporting solutions, explores AI and other technologies for predictive analytics, and supports a Workday migration and new Snowflake data model.

Responsibilities:

• As a lead data analyst in People Analytics, you’ll partner with leaders across the Talent Acquisition Group to deliver data-driven insights while managing an evolving portfolio of operational and analytical reporting solutions
• In this role, you’ll evaluate emerging technologies, especially AI, to advance proactive, predictive analytics and develop innovative solutions that help leaders make informed decisions
• You’ll also support the Workday system migration and a new Snowflake data model, offering an unparalleled opportunity to learn new data structures and dig deep into people data

Requirements:

• A minimum of eight years of analytical work experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of seven years of analytical work experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of five years analytical work experience
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need, of current or future sponsorship for employment
• Progressive does not hire candidates with (e.g., F-1 CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT, H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN) statuses for this role
• Advanced knowledge of SQL or T-SQL, Python, and exposure to Snowflake
• Experience using data visualization tools, especially Power BI and Tableau
• Proven ability to partner directly with customers to build reporting solutions that prioritize performance, ease of use, and analytical insights
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain data insights and turn them into actionable recommendations
• Self-motivated, proactive team player who collaborates effectively across all levels of the organization with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement
