Contract Sales Development Representative (SDR)

TeroAI is seeking an independent contractor to help build the commercial motion for its Site Selection Intelligence product. The role focuses on prospecting SMBs and franchise businesses, generating qualified meetings and opportunities, and supporting prospects through the sales process.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and prospect SMBs, franchisees, franchisors, and multi-location businesses
• Conduct outbound outreach through LinkedIn, email, phone, communities, and other relevant channels
• Generate qualified meetings, product demos, and trials
• Develop and manage a defined list of target accounts and commercial opportunities
• Identify additional high-potential prospects, verticals, and market segments
• Build relationships with business owners, franchise operators, consultants, and potential referral partners
• Facilitate introductions and meetings with qualified prospects
• Support opportunities through the sales process and help move conversations toward close
• Follow up with inbound, marketplace, and marketing-generated leads
• Maintain organized records of outreach, opportunities, and follow-up activity
• Share prospect feedback and market insights with the TeroAI growth team
• Where appropriate, support TeroAI at conferences, meetings, franchise events, and other industry opportunities

Requirements:

• Comfortable prospecting and starting conversations with new people
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and consistent with follow-up
• Understands consultative selling and relationship development
• Can work independently and manage their own outreach activity
• Comfortable with performance-based compensation
• Enjoys testing different audiences, messages, and acquisition channels
• Interested in startups, SaaS, franchises, SMBs, retail, commercial real estate, AI, or location intelligence
• Previous experience in sales development, business development, partnerships, recruiting, fundraising, franchise sales, commercial real estate, or another relationship-driven sales environment is helpful
