Sales Development Representative

SewerAI Corporation is hiring a Sales Development Representative to generate qualified leads and drive sales growth for its AI and data management platform solutions in the water infrastructure industry. The role involves prospecting, qualifying and nurturing potential customers, scheduling sales appointments, and collaborating with marketing to optimize lead generation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound prospecting through various channels (phone calls, emails, social media) to identify potential customers
• Qualify leads and schedule sales appointments for the sales team
• Engage with prospects to understand their needs and educate them on our product offerings
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, tracking all interactions in CRM software (Salesforce)
• Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead-generation campaigns and strategies
• Research target industries and markets to identify potential sales opportunities
• Assist in the development of sales materials and presentations
• Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to engage and build relationships with potential customers
• Goal-oriented with a drive to achieve sales targets
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales prospecting tools (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, GovSpend)
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing) or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in an SDR, sales or customer-facing role (preferred)
• Knowledge of AI and data management platforms (preferred)
• Preferably in the CT timezone
• Preferably in the Central timezone
