x1 Program Manager & x3 Project Managers

Granard Consulting is recruiting for an unnamed client, a digital acceleration consultancy serving financial services, to fill Program Manager and Project Manager contract roles in investment management. The roles focus on leading technology delivery across large-scale transformation and outsourcing programmes, coordinating workstreams and stakeholders, and supporting solution implementation and adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technology delivery across large-scale transformation and outsourcing programmes within Financial Services
• Develop and maintain integrated technology roadmaps, delivery plans, dependency management frameworks and implementation strategies
• Coordinate delivery across multiple technology workstreams including applications, data, integrations, infrastructure and third-party platforms
• Manage relationships with client stakeholders, service providers, vendors and technology partners to ensure successful programme outcomes
• Drive governance, RAID management, executive reporting, resource planning and programme financial oversight
• Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise technology standards, strategic objectives and target operating models
• Working with our clients to understand their business challenges and problems, undertaking requirements gathering, stakeholder interviewing and process analysis
• Designing and proposing potential solutions identifying various pros, cons and risks
• Building and executing project plans, coordinating status, issues and risks, and providing clarity to all stakeholders under Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks
• Constructing and defining test scenarios and test data to ensure requirements are completely and accurately implemented
• Implementation and post-go-live support to ensure successful adoption of developed solutions
• Contributing to our internally built offerings as we build a collection of best-in-class solutions
• Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
• Actively get involved in the new consulting community

Requirements:

• 5-10+ years' experience delivering technology projects and programmes within Asset Management, Investment Management, Banking, Securities Services or broader Financial Services
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-workstream technology transformation programmes
• Experience delivering initiatives involving applications, integration, infrastructure, data and third-party service providers
• Strong understanding of investment operations and middle office processes, including trade processing, reconciliations, positions, transactions, reference data, corporate actions and performance data
• Strong programme planning, estimation, dependency management and technology roadmap development capabilities
• Demonstrated experience of programme governance, executive stakeholder engagement and financial/resource management
• Strong understanding of technology risk, information security, architecture and operational resilience principles
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Degree level qualification
• Excellent problem-solving skills and evidenced ability to break problems down into logical steps
• Excellent organiser with a demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver complex outcomes
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing technology delivery involving custodians, administrators, asset servicers or outsourcing providers is highly desirable
• Programme or project management certifications such as MSP, PMP or PRINCE2 preferred
