Business Analyst

Coforma is seeking a Business Analyst to manage feature and enhancement requests, release cycles, and incident response for business operations. The role translates stakeholder needs into software requirements, supports data analysis and quality testing, and works with technical teams to improve application functionality and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full release cycle end-to-end including managing intake and prioritization, coordinating testing, scheduling releases, and keeping stakeholders aligned and informed throughout the delivery process
• Analyze business objectives and manage and prioritize enhancement requests that meet clients' needs without having to create unnecessary one-off customizations
• Understand business requirements, work flows, and pain points of clients and translate them into specific software requirements that successfully address these pain points
• Develop use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Proactively seek business needs and requirements across diverse customer and stakeholder environments as well as the broad team, and lead/drive work efforts as necessary
• Work closely with the technical team to continually improve application functionality, design, and usability
• Perform complex data analysis, reconciliation, and quality/accuracy testing
• Engage directly with stakeholders and users for all types of inquiries (e.g. account or access issues, enhancement and feature requests, security, etc.)

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst with 2 or more years of experience specific to regulatory analysis in mortgage or small business lending compliance
• Experience providing program management support for data collection/management software platforms
• Ability to understand technical issues and translate and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of API functions, capabilities, and requirements
• Strong time management and coordination skills with the ability to adapt to changes
• Experience analyzing large sets of data and defining business process requirements
• Knowledge and understanding of the principles, theories, and concepts of Agile software development life cycle
• Experience using modern data visualization software tools
