Product Designer

FluxCap is seeking a part-time contract Product Designer to improve its core legal workflows. The designer will turn complex legal research and evidence review into clear interfaces, including experiences for reviewing AI-generated work, and collaborate with engineers through implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Talk with lawyers and the team to understand how they research, review evidence, and develop a case
• Turn complicated workflows into clear interactions, prototypes, and polished interfaces
• Design how people review AI-generated work, inspect sources, and make corrections
• Work closely with engineers through implementation and refine the product’s design patterns

Requirements:

• A portfolio showing thoughtful UX and strong visual craft in shipped digital products
• Experience making information-heavy or professional tools easier to use
• Comfort moving from an open question to a testable design, with clear explanations of your choices
• Experience collaborating with engineers and working within an existing product
• Legal experience is not required
• Experience with AI products is useful
