Senior Infor PLM Consultant

We are currently looking to hire a Contract Infor PLM expert for a Discrete manufacturing project. The start date could in the next 2 to 4 weeks. Below is a description of the engagement.

Senior Infor PLM Consultant / Architect (Discrete Manufacturing)

Job Type: Contract (Corp-to-Corp / 1099)

Duration: 9 to 12 Months +

Location: Remote (some travel, but mostly remote)

Project Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Infor PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Consultant to join a high-profile enterprise ERP and PLM implementation. This engagement focuses specifically on the design, configuration, and deployment of Infor PLM for Discrete Manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration with a core Infor LN ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise in Infor PLM Discrete modules, engineering change control, and complex Bill of Materials (BOM) management.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design, configuration, and rollout of Infor PLM to meet complex discrete manufacturing and engineering requirements.
• Architect and map critical data flows between Infor PLM and the enterprise ERP (Infor LN), ensuring the accurate synchronization of Item Masters, Routings, and multi-level BOMs.
• Configure PLM workflows for Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain stakeholders to capture future-state processes.
• Provide technical guidance on PLM best practices, data migration strategies, and system stabilization.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven, hands-on experience implementing Infor PLM specifically for Discrete Manufacturing (formerly Infor Accelerate / CloudSuite PLM Discrete).
• Strong understanding of enterprise ERP integration principles, specifically mapping PLM data into Infor LN.
• Deep expertise in Engineering Change Management, Document Management, and Item Master data governance within a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate engineering business processes into technical system configurations.
