We are currently looking to hire a Contract Centric Planning Consultant (Merchandise & Assortment Planning) for a Apparel implementation project. The start date could in the next 3 to 5 weeks. Below is a description of the contract engagement.

Job Type: Contract (Corp-to-Corp / 1099)

Location: Remote

Project Overview: We are seeking a Senior Centric Planning Consultant to lead the functional architecture and deployment of Centric Software’s retail planning suite. This role is heavily focused on Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Assortment Planning, and Allocation. The ideal candidate will have deep functional retail expertise and hands-on experience configuring Centric Planning (formerly Armonica Retail) to drive enterprise-wide digital transformations for global retail and apparel brands.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of Centric Planning modules (MFP, Assortment Planning, and Allocation).
• Facilitate executive discovery sessions and business requirement workshops with retail leadership, translating legacy merchandising workflows into scalable Centric system configurations.
• Architect dynamic allocation, forecasting, and open-to-buy (OTB) processes that align with complex omnichannel retail strategies.
• Partner with technical integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between the Centric Planning ecosystem and core enterprise ERPs.
• Drive user adoption through change management initiatives, process documentation, and hands-on functional testing.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven, hands-on experience implementing Centric Planning (explicit experience with the former Armonica Retail suite is highly preferred).
• Deep retail industry DNA with a strong understanding of Merchandise Financial Planning, Open-to-Buy (OTB), Size Optimization, and Product Allocation.
• Experience operating in a senior client-facing consulting or professional services capacity.
• Ability to bridge the gap between merchandising business goals and highly scalable technical solutions.
