Job Title: CAD Engineer
Location: Waller, TX - 75202 (ONSITE)
Duration: 6+ months contract-to-hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking a CAD Engineer with strong Siemens NX experience to support mechanical product design and engineering activities. This role will focus on 3D modeling, 2D drawings, large assembly design, engineering changes, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical design background and experience supporting products through design, engineering change, and manufacturing.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency with Siemens NX
Experience with 3D solid modeling and 2D drawings
Experience with sheet metal design
Strong understanding of GD&T, dimensioning, and tolerance stack-up
Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering change processes
Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods
Strong mechanical design background
Ability to work with complex product and assembly structures
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams
