Federal Sales Account Executive

DSI Tech is hiring a Federal Sales Account Executive to grow its Department of Defense and Federal Civilian market segments. The role owns the sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through presenting solutions, negotiating, and building customer relationships, with a focus on Cisco and other technology vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on achieving federal sales and revenue goals
• Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities within the Federal Civilian and DoD markets
• Leverage professional networks, industry relationships, and creative prospecting strategies to build pipeline and close new business
• Identify emerging federal market opportunities and develop strategies to expand business within targeted agencies and accounts
• Partner with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market and business development initiatives
• Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with prospective and existing federal customers
• Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the sales and account management process
• Communicate opportunities, strategies, and business needs clearly and professionally across internal and external teams
• Effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and opportunities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Take ownership of challenges, proactively identify solutions, and seek leadership support when appropriate

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong relationships and established contacts across the DoD and/or Federal Civilian market
• Proven experience selling through key federal contract vehicles such as NASA SEWP, ESCIII, Air Force NETCENTS, GSA, and other GWACs
• Solid understanding of federal procurement processes, market trends, and FAR requirements
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
• A proactive, resourceful approach with the ability to identify solutions and move opportunities forward
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Results-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated success selling under NASA SEWP, ESCIII, Air Force NETCENTS, GSA, and other GWAC federal contracts
• Demonstrated credibility in customer and team interactions
• Business growth mindset
• Existing customer base
