Senior Analyst, Business Analytics

CVS Health is a healthcare company focused on creating a more connected and compassionate health experience. The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics reviews client guarantee performance, prepares financial and audit reporting, analyzes contract terms and underwriting assumptions, and provides recommendations for pricing strategy and business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly data pulls for assigned guarantee clients. Review performance results, drug mix and utilization to identify opportunities to mitigate financial risk to the organization
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance and accounting partners to understand and improve gaps and overlaps in processes and gain further understanding of the multiple components and factors that impact a client’s financial performance
• Perform lookback analysis to review underwriting assumptions to contract language and actual results, in an effort to provide future recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with creating financial models and working with large data sets in a database environment
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects and delivering results timely
• 2+ years of SQL/Google Cloud Big Query
• Must be proficient in excel
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
• 2+ PBM experience
• preferably in drug pricing and analytics
