Marketing Manager

Rise Up Selects is an independently owned, full-service live entertainment production and marketing company that produces festivals and concerts and provides marketing, production, and festival services. The Marketing Manager owns day-to-day marketing for assigned projects, including strategy, campaign execution, reporting, brand development, and partnership coordination. The role is accountable for measurable event marketing results across Rise Up Selects and client projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead marketing objectives across Rise Up Selects to consistently exceed set benchmarks and KPIs
• Develop strategic marketing plans and comprehensive reporting across assigned projects
• Develop and oversee day-to-day marketing across assigned projects
• Evaluate, develop, and execute new processes to streamline work across the marketing department
• Oversee social campaigns from ideation through execution across assigned projects
• Develop and execute direct marketing efforts, including email and SMS, across projects
• Oversee and execute data capture and lead generation campaigns across projects
• Partner on art development to maintain Rise Up Selects as an aesthetic leader in the industry
• Work closely with ad buyers to ensure marketing plans are communicated, ad plans are received, and performance metrics and spend stay on track
• Assist in building and maintaining local influencer marketing programs, ensuring deliverables and sales goals are met
• Assist in building and maintaining street team efforts, ensuring effective print and grassroots activity across projects
• Assist in the development and maintenance of PR efforts as needed
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and advertising initiatives, providing detailed reports and insights across teams
• Report regularly to the broader team on all aspects of assigned projects
• Ensure decisions are driven by data rather than justified by it after the fact
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure consistency in all marketing and branding efforts
• Work across departments to ensure all KPIs are met
• Engage with sponsors, community leaders, and other key partners to foster partnerships and support for events
• Travel as required for on-site work alongside marketing and other teams at Rise Up Selects core projects, and potentially additional properties such as Reggae Rise Up
• Support day-of-show and festival marketing operations
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of marketing experience with a record of running campaigns that moved measurable results
• Experience in live events, music, festivals, or hospitality
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• equivalent experience
• Strong command of both digital and traditional marketing channels
• Fluency with email and SMS platforms, social management tools, analytics, and project management systems
• Solid analytical ability, comfortable building a plan and comfortable reading the numbers that tell you whether it's working
• Strong eye for design and brand consistency
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present clearly to leadership, clients, partners, and vendors
• Effective across multiple concurrent projects, markets, and brands without losing the details
• Self-starting and organized, comfortable operating independently with authority
• Collaborative across departments, including talent buying, production, ticketing, ad buying, and operations
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding corporate, strategic, financial, and client information
• Energized by a fast-paced environment and motivated by solving problems under real deadlines
• Genuinely enjoys live music and the work of building an audience for it
• Experience working on client or agency-side accounts
• Strong eye for design and brand consistency; working knowledge of creative tools
