Job Title: Transmission Operations Engineer
Job Duration: 06+ Months (Possibility of Extension or Conversion)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Pay Range: - $40/Hr. - $63/Hr.
Pay Range will differ as per the experience.
Job Summary:
* Transmission Operations Engineer supporting transmission system operations, engineering analysis, and long-range system planning.
* Supports technical decision-making and resolution of complex engineering and operational issues affecting system reliability.
Core Responsibilities
* Perform engineering analyses, studies, evaluations, investigations, and technical reviews to support transmission operations.
* Conduct and interpret power flow studies to support operational and planning decisions.
* Develop solutions to technical engineering and system reliability issues.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives, schedules, and technical requirements are met.
* Prepare engineering reports, recommendations, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
* Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced engineers as needed.
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
* Engineer II: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2 years of engineering-related experience.
* Engineer III: Bachelor's degree in an approved engineering or applied science discipline and a minimum of 5 years of engineering-related experience.
* Senior Engineer: Bachelor's degree in an approved engineering or applied science discipline and a minimum of 8 years of engineering-related experience.
