Sales Account Manager

ProAmpac is a global flexible packaging company growing its Flexible Packaging Sales Team. The Sales Account Manager will expand flexible packaging sales in the Midwest dairy market, either by developing new business or managing and growing strategic customer accounts. The role owns customer relationships and coordinates cross-functional teams through commercialization.

Responsibilities:

• New Business / Sales Hunters – Proven prospectors who know how to open doors, develop relationships, and convert opportunities into new business
• Key Account Managers – Strategic relationship builders who know how to manage, retain, and grow complex, high-value customer accounts
• Ability to lead customer opportunities from initial conversation through commercialization by partnering across technical, operations, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams
• At ProAmpac, our Sales Account Managers are more than salespeople—they serve as the account owner and quarterback of the customer relationship, bringing the right people and solutions together to grow both new and existing business

Requirements:

• Proven prospectors who know how to open doors, develop relationships, and convert opportunities into new business
• Strategic relationship builders who know how to manage, retain, and grow complex, high-value customer accounts
• Bachelor's degree in business, packaging, engineering, or relevant work experience
• 5-12 years of successful flexible packaging sales experience
• Experience selling roll-stock, pouches, lidding films and other flexible film solutions
• Experience working directly with mid-to-large CPG customers in the Dairy Market
• Strong understanding of film/resin structures, printing & converting, packaging applications, and sustainability solutions
• Ability to lead customer opportunities from initial conversation through commercialization by partnering across technical, operations, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams
• strong background in flexible packaging sales
• experience building business within the Midwest CPG Dairy market
