Field & Events Marketing Manager

Stepful is a workforce platform helping healthcare systems build, train, and retain their talent. The Field & Events Marketing Manager will lead conference, trade show, sponsored event, webinar, and new event programs, managing execution, lead capture, follow-up, vendors, budgets, and event strategy insights.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end execution for conferences, trade shows, and sponsored events, including logistics, booth and materials, staffing, budgets, and vendor coordination
• Coordinate the work of our events contractor and outside vendors so every event ships on time and on budget
• Prepare the team for each event with target account lists, briefing docs, and meeting schedules, in partnership with our Workforce Solutions team
• Implement and maintain event lead tagging in HubSpot so every lead and attendee is attributed correctly
• Run post-event follow-up sequences and hand off warm conversations to sales quickly
• Track attendee engagement after each event and share insights that shape which events we invest in next
• Run our paid webinar program, from topic and speaker coordination to promotion, production, and follow-up, with support from product marketing
• Support planning and execution for a Stepful-hosted event next year
• Build simple, repeatable playbooks and checklists, and experiment with AI tools to speed up event prep and follow-up

Requirements:

• 5+ years of events or field marketing experience, including at a startup
• A track record of managing several events at once from start to finish, including budgets, vendors, and on-site execution
• Hands-on experience setting up lead capture and campaign tagging in a CRM or marketing automation tool (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar)
• Experience running webinars or virtual events from promotion through follow-up
• Scrappiness: you're comfortable building your own processes and tools when there isn't infrastructure in place
• Strong project management and communication skills, and a habit of flagging risks early to sales and marketing partners
• Willingness to travel to events, including during the busy fall season
• You've run events for healthcare, health system, or HR and workforce audiences
• You've helped launch a company's own flagship event or customer summit
• You've worked in EdTech, workforce development, or healthcare
