Technical Project Management

TEECOM is a fully remote consulting firm hiring Technical Project Managers across multiple levels. The role owns client relationships, technology scope, and delivery across concurrent projects, with responsibilities spanning design coordination, client meetings, construction administration, field issue resolution, and commissioning. Senior roles also manage major accounts, mentor junior staff, and support account growth.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Project Managers at TEECOM are the primary point of contact for client accounts — they own the relationship, the technology scope, and the delivery across multiple concurrent projects
• TPMs spend significant time on-site managing the technology scope of active projects alongside construction teams, contractors, and client stakeholders
• They bring genuine technical depth in at least one discipline (ICT/Telecom, Security, AV, Wireless, or similar) and use that expertise to make real-time decisions in the field, review deliverables for quality, and maintain client trust through construction and commissioning
• Work spans managing design team coordination, leading client meetings, driving construction administration, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and ensuring projects close out cleanly
• At more senior levels, Technical Project Managers take ownership of major accounts with multiple active projects, mentor junior TPMs and engineers, and contribute to growing the account and TEECOM's presence with the client

Requirements:

• Technical background in at least one technology discipline (ICT/Telecom, Security, AV, Wireless, or similar) — you can review drawings, discuss design decisions, and troubleshoot issues in the field
• Experience managing technology consulting or AEC projects through the full lifecycle — design, construction administration, and commissioning
• Client-facing ownership — you manage the relationship directly and are accountable for project outcomes
• Strong commercial and financial management skills — managing scope, contracts, budgets, schedules, and risk
• Strong technical communication skills — you translate technical issues into clear decisions and coordinate across disciplines, clients, and contractors
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across a single client account or portfolio
• Degree in any four-year engineering discipline, construction project management, technology management, or a related technical field — or equivalent hands-on experience
• PMP certification or equivalent — preferred
