Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly collaborative Business Analyst with strong Agile/Scrum experience and hands-on exposure to application development projects, including web applications, customer-facing websites, mobile applications, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and project leadership, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, translated into user stories, and successfully delivered through Agile development cycles. Candidates should also have experience supporting testing activities, including UAT, test planning, test case review, and validation of delivered functionality.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience.
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience supporting application development projects such as:
• Customer-facing websites
• Web applications
• Mobile applications
• Digital platforms
• Enterprise software solutions
• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong experience creating:
• User Stories
• Epics
• Acceptance Criteria
• Use Cases
• Process Flows
• Functional Specifications
• Experience facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Testing & Quality Experience

• Experience supporting QA and testing activities.
• Develop and review test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
• Support defect triage, issue resolution, and production readiness activities.
• Experience with requirements traceability and change management.

Agile Responsibilities

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Refine and prioritize user stories with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and implementation impacts.
• Support successful delivery of Agile projects from discovery through deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience supporting API integrations and connected systems.
• Exposure to cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of digital customer experience initiatives.
• Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Basic understanding of SQL and data analysis.
• Experience working within hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.
