wikiHow is seeking a temporary, part-time Data Analyst to support its remote operations. The role focuses on gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to measure content performance, support experimentation, provide reporting, and create data tools for the organization.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field OR 3+ years of analytical experience • You're a keen analytical thinker, and enjoy generating and testing hypotheses • You have a history of effectively communicating data. Technical requirements:
• R programming skills within the tidyverse ecosystem (dplyr, tidyr, ggplot2, etc). Ability to wrangle data, craft data visualizations, work with time series, and interface with APIs. • Ability to write SQL queries including exposure to complex CTEs, window functions, and query optimizations • Understanding of statistics, especially experimentation and causal inference. Experience communicating concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Familiar with other scripting languages like Python or PHP. • Familiar with source control management systems, like Git • Familiar with AI systems
