Remote Data Analyst

Job-Hopper is a candidate-centric job search platform that uses AI to help job seekers find better-matched opportunities. The company is hiring a Data Analyst to turn platform data into actionable insights that support business operations and product decisions, while working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from across the platform and multiple internal sources
• Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support business and product decisions
• Track key metrics such as user engagement, match quality, and conversion, and surface the trends behind them
• Identify patterns and opportunities for process and product improvement
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams on operational and strategic initiatives
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Assist with data validation, reporting automation, and performance tracking

Requirements:

• Roughly 2 to 3 years of experience in a data analysis or related role
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, early-stage environment
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field preferred, but not required
• Experience with Python, R, or other analytics tools
• Familiarity with modern data stacks or cloud-based databases
• A self-starter mindset with the drive to take ownership and see work through without heavy oversight
• Vision and ambition, with an interest in growing into greater responsibility as the company scales
• The adaptability to wear several hats and move quickly in a rapidly growing company
• An interest in the recruiting, HR technology, or job search space and in the mission of helping job seekers succeed
