Project Manager - Switchgear Products Site Installation

Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. The Site Installation Project Manager plans and oversees turn-key service projects, leads on-site teams, coordinates commissioning and construction activities, manages stakeholders and subcontractors, and ensures projects meet schedule, budget, quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from contract award through completion, including client and internal meetings, site coordination, and active presence throughout execution
• Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans, clearly defining responsibilities and ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
• Supervise and execute site activities in accordance with commissioning plans and industry standards, maintaining a high level of quality and safety
• Collaborate with clients, trades, and stakeholders to negotiate schedules, address concerns, and drive project progress through respectful and effective communication
• Prioritize and organize tasks efficiently, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or issues before they impact the schedule
• Generate and review daily and weekly reports to communicate on-site activities and progress in a timely and accurate manner
• Identify out-of-scope work, prepare estimates, and assist in change order and claims processing to support project controls
• Coordinate and manage construction personnel and subcontractors, ensuring resource availability, tracking headcount, and optimizing productivity
• Maintain compliance with all project requirements, codes, and construction standards across on-site and off-site activities
• Foster strong working relationships with team members, supervisors, and leadership to resolve issues, coach team performance, and support a productive work environment
• Analyze and mitigate project risks while maintaining adaptability to handle emerging challenges
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all project personnel, including engineers, construction teams, and management

Requirements:

• HS Diploma with equivalent experience
• 3+ years of Site Management or Project Management experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability and a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including sub-contractors, field services, engineering, operations, and logistics
• Ability to interpret and report results to senior management as well as customer
• 100% Travel to customer construction site

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent experience
