Research Project Manager

ŌURA develops wearable technology and connected-app experiences that help people understand and improve their health, readiness, activity, and sleep. The Research Project Manager will manage strategic partnership research projects generating real-world evidence, coordinating internal teams and external collaborators from feasibility through closeout. The role will also establish research operations processes, manage project risks and logistics, and support evidence dissemination.

Responsibilities:

• Own a portfolio of commercial, academic, and member-based research studies, from feasibility and scoping through partner coordination, launch, data collection, analysis readiness, reporting, and closeout
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic collaborators in academic, healthcare, CRO, and commercial organizations
• Establish repeatable processes, workflows, and documentation to enable high-quality research at industry speed and scale in a highly dynamic environment
• Work with teams of experts to translate research questions into clear study plans, operational requirements, documented decisions, milestones, reporting, and evidence deliverables
• Coordinate budgets, contracts, partner responsibilities, data-transfer expectations, privacy and consent requirements, timelines, and issue resolution
• Monitor study progress, surface risks early, and communicate tradeoffs clearly to internal and external stakeholders
• Support evidence dissemination through reports, publications, abstracts, partner deliverables, clinical education, or commercial and regulatory materials as appropriate

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing human research, clinical research, health outcomes, real-world evidence, healthcare programs, or equivalent partner research programs
• Experience independently managing external academic, commercial, clinical, CRO, and/or healthcare partnerships
• Experience taking research or outcomes projects from feasibility and planning through execution, reporting, and closeout
• Strong project-management, documentation, risk-management, and cross-functional communication skills
• Familiarity with research data flows, participant privacy and consent, data-quality review, and tools such as spreadsheets, project trackers, survey platforms, EHRs, EDC, CTMS, eTMF, or comparable systems
• Human-subjects research and GCP/CITI training, or willingness to complete required training
• This is a remote US role
• a slight preference for candidates based on the East Coast
