Data Engineer

American Lead Generation (ALG) builds exclusive, verified U.S. lead data for companies across insurance, real estate, and financial services. The Data Systems Engineer will own and develop infrastructure for data ingestion, cleaning, verification, quality scoring, and automated workflows while collaborating with leadership on system architecture and the technical roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Own data ingestion, cleaning, deduplication, and verification pipelines end-to-end
• Build and maintain automated workflows connecting multiple data sources
• Implement cross-verification against authoritative sources to confirm accuracy before delivery
• Design confidence-scoring logic to rank data quality
• Monitor pipeline health, error rates, and data freshness at scale
• Work directly with leadership on system architecture and technical roadmap

Requirements:

• Strong Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud/relational databases
• Track record building automated data pipelines, not one-off scripts
• Familiarity with API-based data enrichment (not scraping)
• Compliance-first instinct — flags unverifiable data, never ships it as confirmed
• Bonus: exposure to ML scoring models or workflow orchestration tools
