Senior Global Product Manager / Director

Waters Medical Systems, part of IGL, develops organ-preservation and perfusion technologies for transplantation and surgical care. The company is seeking a Senior Global Product Manager or Director to lead product strategy, roadmap development, commercialization, marketing, and portfolio priorities across global markets with a U.S. emphasis.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product roadmap, market research and business cases; recommend portfolio priorities, positioning and pricing
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and design inputs. Partner with R&D and Clinical on concept testing and usability studies; specialists retain formal validation responsibility
• Monitor clinical literature, competitors, regulatory filings and relevant IP with specialist colleagues; apply insights to product differentiation and evidence priorities
• Lead launches, sales training and customer tools. Work alongside sales and clinical teams to understand adoption barriers and improve commercial execution
• Own digital campaigns, content and trade shows, including lead follow-up and performance measurement. Personally create core materials and manage vendors within approved budgets
• Analyze revenue, margin, pricing, placements and recurring consumable utilization with Sales and Finance. Use findings to improve adoption and profitability
• Coordinate global execution with France-based teams; align priorities and internal or external support with the General Manager

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of progressive medtech experience, with demonstrated results in upstream product strategy and downstream marketing
• Experience with capital equipment and recurring consumables, or a comparable commercial model
• Global product or marketing experience and effective collaboration with European headquarters
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, engineering or a related field
• Understanding of medical-device development, transplant workflows; ability to interpret clinical evidence and translate customer insights into development priorities
• Strong market analysis, business-case development, pricing and project management skills, with sound prioritization in a lean organization
• Clear writing, presentations and cross-functional influence; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and practical experience with CRM and marketing analytics
• Hands-on marketing execution, initiative and comfort working independently with limited infrastructure. Cultural awareness and effective collaboration with France-based colleagues
• Home-based in the U.S. Central or Eastern time zone, near a major airport
• Approximately 30% travel, including U.S. customer visits and events and quarterly visits to France
• Regular early-morning meetings with France-based colleagues
