Domestic Sales Account Manager

Aloha Medicinals is a producer of organic functional mushroom ingredients serving supplement, beverage, food, and contract manufacturing customers. The Account Manager – Business Development will manage and expand existing B2B accounts while independently sourcing and closing new business, building customer relationships, forecasting sales, coordinating cross-functionally, and representing the company at trade shows and customer events.

Responsibilities:

• Own a portfolio of customer accounts, including supplement brands, beverage companies, food manufacturers, and contract manufacturers, serving as their primary point of contact
• Independently source, pursue, and close new business rather than relying solely on inbound leads
• Build relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations and expand Aloha’s reach within each account
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, including new products, increased volume, and additional applications
• Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast, with clear visibility into deal stage, timing, and next steps
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure customer commitments align with operational capabilities
• Represent Aloha Medicinals at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events

Requirements:

• 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, with a demonstrated track record of independently generating new business—not just maintaining an existing book of accounts
• Ability to manage multiple customer relationships, opportunities, and competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment in negotiation and escalation
• Working proficiency with a CRM and standard business tools
• Willingness to travel as business needs require
• Experience selling ingredients or raw materials into food, dietary supplement, nutraceutical, beverage, or contract manufacturing markets
• Experience supporting international, export, or cross-border customers
• Familiarity with NetSuite or a comparable ERP
• Familiarity with BRCGS, GFSI, HACCP, cGMP, or related food and quality standards
• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
