Sales Account Executive

Cogs’z is a Profit Improvement Platform for modern AI and SaaS companies. The Sales Account Executive will drive new revenue and expand existing customer relationships by managing the full sales cycle, conducting prospecting and demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating cross-functionally to support successful customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and qualifying prospective customers, conducting discovery calls, and presenting tailored demonstrations to executive and operational stakeholders
• Manage the full sales cycle, including proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract negotiation in collaboration with internal teams
• Maintaining a healthy pipeline, forecasting accurately, documenting interactions in a CRM, and coordinating with marketing, customer success, and product to ensure smooth handoffs and high customer satisfaction
• Staying current on platform capabilities, AI and SaaS market trends, and competitive offerings to effectively position Cogs’z solutions

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess strong Lead Generation and prospecting skills to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Candidates should possess effective Account Management and Customer Service skills to support renewals, expansions, and long-term customer success
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Relationship Building skills to engage diverse stakeholders and drive consensus in complex sales cycles
• Candidates should possess familiarity with B2B SaaS or AI-related solutions, including the ability to understand and explain value around profitability, cost control, and revenue optimization
• Proficiency with CRM tools and basic sales analytics for forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate across teams, and meet or exceed sales targets
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience managing a full sales cycle, from discovery through negotiation and close, preferably in a high-growth technology environment
