Vice President of IT Project Management

Paeonia Group is seeking a Vice President of IT Project Management to provide executive leadership for its global IT project portfolio, project management framework, technology transformation initiatives, and strategic program delivery. The role oversees complex technology programs, establishes governance and delivery standards, manages budgets and risks, leads transformation initiatives, and develops technology delivery teams while reporting to executive leadership and the Board.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the organization’s global IT project management strategy
• Establish and maintain enterprise-wide project management standards, methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices
• Oversee a portfolio of large-scale technology projects across multiple regions and business units
• Prioritize technology initiatives based on strategic value, business impact, risk, cost, and resource requirements
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and performance metrics
• Manage technology project budgets, resource allocation, vendor costs, and financial performance
• Identify project risks, delivery issues, resource constraints, and operational dependencies
• Establish effective project risk-management, quality-control, compliance, and governance processes
• Lead large-scale digital transformation, technology modernization, cloud migration, system implementation, and enterprise integration programs
• Partner with IT Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure successful technology delivery
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into executable technology programs
• Develop executive-level project reports, dashboards, forecasts, and portfolio-performance updates
• Lead escalation management and corrective-action plans for high-priority or at-risk projects
• Manage relationships with external technology vendors, consultants, implementation partners, and strategic suppliers
• Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop project managers, program managers, PMO leaders, and technology delivery teams
• Present project portfolio performance, investment requirements, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board
• Continuously improve project delivery methodologies, organizational capabilities, automation, and technology governance

Requirements:

• 🎓 Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 💼 12+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, program management, technology transformation, PMO leadership, or technology operations
• 🌎 Proven experience managing large-scale, complex, and geographically distributed technology portfolios
• 📊 Strong knowledge of project portfolio management, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and governance
• 🖥️ Strong understanding of enterprise technology, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data platforms, software development, and systems integration
• 🔄 Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation and enterprise technology initiatives
• 💰 Strong financial management and business-case development capabilities
• 👔 Proven ability to lead large technology organizations and cross-functional teams
• 🤝 Experience managing strategic technology vendors and external implementation partners
• 🎙️ Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
• 🧠 Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and change-management capabilities
• 🎓 MBA, Master's degree, PMP, PgMP, or other advanced certification preferred
