Director Project Management

M Booth Health is a health communications agency serving pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, diagnostics, health tech, and payer organizations. The Director, Project Management will lead the operational delivery of integrated corporate brand and reputation communications programs for a marquee pharmaceutical client, overseeing campaigns, budgets, timelines, staffing, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the day-to-day project management lead for integrated corporate brand accounts, overseeing multiple concurrent campaigns and workstreams
• Lead delivery across major brand initiatives, including corporate reputation programs, earned-led campaigns, partnerships and sponsorships, executive communications, and live or on-site brand activations
• Translate complex brand strategies into clear, executable plans — aligning timelines, scopes, staffing, and dependencies across disciplines
• Ensure cohesion across strategy, creative, earned, paid, analytics, and account teams so work delivers against brand and reputational objectives
• Anticipate delivery risks tied to creative development, approvals, regulatory considerations, or live moments — and proactively build mitigation plans
• Bring structure and clarity to ambiguity, especially during high-visibility or high-pressure brand moments
• Spearhead scoping, staffing models, and budgets for integrated brand programs, ensuring they reflect the true complexity of the work
• Partner with account and finance leadership to manage burn, pacing, and profitability across campaigns and always-on work
• Oversee forecasting, accruals, and monthly billing, ensuring accuracy and transparency
• Proactively identify scope risks or opportunities and recommend smart solutions that protect both the client relationship and the agency
• Support annual planning and large-scale campaign budgeting tied to the client’s brand priorities
• Act as a trusted operational partner to account and functional leads, helping them navigate timelines, dependencies, and delivery tradeoffs without compromising quality
• Work closely with strategy, creative, earned media, and analytics leads to ensure operational plans support the intended brand impact
• Facilitate alignment across internal teams and external partners, ensuring everyone understands roles, responsibilities, and expectations
• Model calm, confident leadership in complex stakeholder environments
• Reinforce MBH’s collaborative, non-hierarchical approach while maintaining accountability and high standards

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in project management within a public relations, marketing, or integrated communications agency
• Strong understanding of how corporate brand, earned media, creative storytelling, partnerships, and executive communications intersect
• Deep expertise in scoping, staffing, budgeting, and financial management for complex campaigns
• Experience developing, optimizing and/or implementing process where appropriate within client teams and workflows
• Ability to manage high-stakes work with sound judgment, organization, and composure
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with senior clients and agency leadership
• Experience leading and developing project management teams
• Proficiency in project management and financial tracking tools, as well as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in the use of Artificial Intelligence tools with human review and iteration for responsible project management excellence
