ERP Project Manager (MS Dynamics Finance & Operations)

Microtek Learning LLC is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a complex inventory reconciliation initiative involving finance, supply chain, reporting, ERP, and multiple system integrations. The role will establish project structure, coordinate stakeholders and dependencies, and drive the initiative through implementation, go-live, and hypercare.

Responsibilities:

• Take primary project management ownership of the inventory reconciliation project
• Build structure and detailed project planning around work that is already in progress
• Gather existing documentation, artifacts, requirements, and institutional knowledge and consolidate them into a comprehensive project plan
• Coordinate closely with the parallel Finance project, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables remain aligned
• Manage a project with significant dependencies across ERP, supply chain, finance, integrations, reporting, inventory costing, valuation, and period-close processes
• Coordinate integrations between Dynamics 365 and a proprietary business platform, as well as other legacy and connected systems
• Work closely with business, ERP, finance, technical, and integration stakeholders to keep workstreams aligned
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, issues, milestones, and competing priorities
• Drive the inventory reconciliation initiative toward readiness within approximately six months, followed by Finance go-live and hypercare
• Potentially take on a supplier integration project if the inventory reconciliation initiative stabilizes and capacity allows

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Project Management experience, with a significant portion focused on ERP or enterprise application initiatives, ideally D365 F&O (or as similar as possible)
• Experience leading at least 3 large-scale, end to end, ERP projects involving multiple business and technical workstreams
• Recent experience managing an ERP project involving inventory-related processes
• Experience managing projects in a complex integrated ERP environment, where the ERP connects with multiple external, proprietary, or legacy applications
• Experience managing projects involving at least several of the following areas :
• Inventory management
• Inventory reconciliation
• Inventory costing and valuation
• Supply chain
• Finance/accounting
• Financial reporting
• Period close
• Order management
• Experience taking over an active/in-flight project, assessing existing documentation and requirements, and developing a detailed project plan to drive it forward
• Experience owning core PM responsibilities including project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, stakeholder coordination, status reporting, and go-live readiness
• Experience leading projects through implementation/go-live and hypercare
• Must be able to ramp up quickly and manage a project with significant existing complexity and moving parts. The hiring manager specifically emphasized needing someone experienced enough to understand the environment quickly rather than someone whose ERP experience has been limited to straightforward implementations
• Candidates with experience managing similarly complex ERP environments may be considered even if their primary ERP background is outside of Dynamics
• Sharp, highly organized, and able to ramp up quickly
• Comfortable inheriting a project where substantial information already exists but has not yet been consolidated into the detailed plan needed for execution
• Experienced with complicated ERP (ideally D365 F&O) transformations rather than straightforward or "cookie-cutter" implementations
• Able to take information from multiple subject matter experts and turn it into a clear, actionable project structure
• Comfortable working with strong, fast-moving personalities and able to keep the project organized and moving forward
• Brings dedicated focus and accountability to a project currently being supported by team members who also have other responsibilities
• 2+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O project experience or experience leading at least one significant D365 F&O implementation/project
• Experience with an inventory-focused ERP initiative, particularly inventory reconciliation, costing, valuation, or reporting
• Experience managing ERP initiatives that cross both Supply Chain and Finance
• Experience coordinating an ERP with 3+ connected systems, such as proprietary applications, legacy platforms, order management systems, or other enterprise applications
• Experience joining a project after work has already begun and bringing structure, documentation, and accountability to the initiative
• Experience working with multiple SMEs and consolidating requirements, project artifacts, and existing knowledge into a single execution plan
• PMP or similar Project Management certification is a plus
• Recent Dynamics 365 F&O is very strongly preferred
• Experience should include ERP environments with significant integrations across order management, legacy applications, proprietary platforms, finance, and other enterprise systems
• Location: 100% Remote within the U.S. – preference for Central or Eastern time zones
