OSP Project Manager

JSI is a telecommunications and broadband services organization focused on expanding connectivity and digital inclusion. The OSP Project Manager will lead the delivery of fiber network design projects across multiple markets, directing engineering and CAD/GIS teams while managing schedules, budgets, client coordination, permitting, field verification, and final as-built plans.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and drive the delivery of the overall OSP FTTH design project
• Monitor design progress, oversee design scheduling, and track design status to schedule
• Will interface with the client’s design team. Build strong working relationships by providing regular status updates and facilitating design alignment meetings
• Coordinate closely with the field construction team to ensure design plans are understood and followed
• Attend regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on progress and manage risks
• This position is integral to our vision, strategy, and overall growth plans and requires strong leadership, people skills, and problem-solving abilities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of experience successfully managing complex OSP FTTH design projects
• Working knowledge of RUS specifications and units
• A high degree of professionalism and integrity, strong sense of urgency, and ability to multitask and reprioritize
• Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as listening and interpretation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams)
• Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and other GIS platforms
• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or professional engineer certification is preferred but not required
