Regional Marketing Services Manager - Resources

HDR is seeking a Regional Marketing Services Manager for its Resources Business Group in the South-Central US. The role leads regional marketing strategies, client development, and complex pursuit efforts while supervising and developing proposal managers and marketing coordinators.

Responsibilities:

• Retain, develop and supervise proposal managers and marketing coordinators, as assigned
• Manage workload demands of proposal managers and marketing coordinators
• Lead pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies, project capture planning, and persuasive proposal and interview materials for key regional pursuits
• Engage the appropriate marketing services, operational, and technical resources in pursuit teams
• Partner with RBG BDLs to identify current and future business development and marketing needs, and drive resulting strategies
• Lead quality reviews of proposal and interview materials
• Coach interview teams to be effective at delivering key messages during interview presentations
• Ensure the go/no-go decision process is applied in accordance with HDR’s Matrix of Authority
• Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitiveness
• Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices
• Maintain a strong understanding of the market trends and drivers impacting our clients
• Implement key growth initiatives and investments as defined in annual and long-term strategic plans
• Develop and implement key client plans, including long-term strategies to capture market share
• Ensure targeted client development plans are being worked on by marketing and business development staff
• Lead regional content marketing campaigns to strengthen our brand, increase our visibility, and showcase our thought leaders (partnering with RBG Comms)
• Manage regional NFB goals, marketing budgets, and financial systems to inform reporting metrics and dashboards
• Actively participate in professional associations and industry conferences to elevate HDR’s brand in target markets
• Develop business relationships with teaming partners
