CRM Project Manager Consultant

The Squires Group, Inc. is a consulting and staffing company providing client delivery and technology implementation services. They are seeking a CRM Project Manager Consultant to lead end-to-end delivery of a waste-industry CRM implementation, managing plans, Agile execution, budgets, risks, vendors, and stakeholder communication through go-live.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and dependencies
• Manage the agile backlog and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews in collaboration with the delivery team
• Continuously monitor project health, proactively identifying schedule, scope, or delivery risks and driving timely resolution
• Ensure delivery stays within approved financial constraints, tracking budget actuals against plan and escalating variances as needed
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, including senior leaders and steering committee members
• Deliver clear, concise status updates tailored to a business (not technical) audience
• Translate technical concepts into business impact, risk, and decision-making language for executive audiences
• Communicate proactively and efficiently, focusing on key insights without overloading stakeholders with unnecessary detail
• Raise issues early, providing context, options, and recommended paths forward to support informed decisions
• Lead and support the delivery team day-to-day, providing direction, removing blockers, and maintaining momentum and morale
• Partner closely with internal leadership to maintain visibility into team performance, capacity, and engagement health
• Navigate interpersonal and cross-functional conflicts professionally, resolving issues in a way that preserves relationships and delivery progress
• Model consulting-level professionalism across all interactions, including meetings, written communication, and deliverables
• Identify technical and operational risks early and develop mitigation strategies to protect timeline, quality, and outcomes
• Manage scope rigorously, supporting stakeholder alignment on tradeoffs between scope, budget, and schedule
• Oversee relationships with external vendors and third-party partners, ensuring clear expectations, accountability, and performance alignment

Requirements:

• Proven project management experience leading complex, cross-functional technology implementations from planning through go-live
• Strong fluency in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies, including backlog management and facilitation of ceremonies
• Solid technical acumen across software development, cloud environments, and data systems, enabling effective engagement with technical teams and translation for business stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience presenting to executive stakeholders and steering committees with clarity, confidence, and business-focused framing
• Experience managing project budgets, tracking spend, and proactively managing financial risks and variances
• Strong risk identification and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address issues early and constructively
• Consulting-level communication skills with a polished, client-facing presence in all settings
• Bachelors Degree
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification
• Experience in waste management, logistics, transportation, or other operations-heavy industries
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or enterprise system implementations
• Experience managing vendor RFP processes, evaluations, and contract negotiations
• Exposure to organizational change management alongside technical delivery
