Bilingual Customer Service (Healthcare)

The company is seeking bilingual Spanish-speaking Healthcare Customer Service Representatives to support healthcare members and providers by handling inbound calls, explaining benefits, verifying eligibility, and resolving inquiries while maintaining accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls from healthcare members, providers, and clinic staff in both English and Spanish in a clear, professional, and friendly manner
• Assist members with understanding their health plan benefits, copays, coverage details, and claim status while keeping complex terminology simple to understand
• Verify member eligibility, update contact details, and help schedule appointments or connect callers with specialized care management teams
• Document caller interactions accurately in our customer management system while adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and privacy regulations
• Research and resolve member inquiries or complaints during the first call whenever possible, escalating complex clinical or billing issues to the appropriate team when needed

Requirements:

• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 1 year of experience
• Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, or administrative support, with healthcare experience considered a plus
